Adhesives

The adhesive industry is an area of concentration for Clarus Specialty Products. Through our years of experience in marketing refined petroleum products, including both process oils and wax, we have had the pleasure of working with both regional and multinational adhesive manufacturers. We offer a number of fully refined paraffins in the 140°F to 165°F range that seems to be integral to the adhesive formulators’ toolbox. Microcrystalline waxes are also very familiar to Clarus. These products range from soft and tacky to high melting with low needle penetration values. If desired, any of our products can be blended to achieve a specific profile of physical properties. All paraffins and micros are available in bulk liquid formats, as well as slabs and pastille (dependant on melting point and softness).
